Happy New Year!
I hope you’ve all had a brilliant festive break and managed to enjoy some downtime, movement and maybe even a few cheeky chocolates.
Over the last couple of weeks, it’s been great to see so many of you getting stuck into our off-programme sessions—focusing on movement quality, a good sweat, and keeping the wheels turning. But now it’s time to kick into gear…
🔁 New Programme Block: “Wave” Starts Monday 5th
We’re back to structured programming with a fresh block called Wave.
The focus will be on:
- Rebuilding general functional strength
- Reinforcing the movement quality we worked on last month
- Progressing through a wave loading structure: starting with higher reps, then gradually increasing weight and reducing reps within each session, not just week to week
We’ll continue to track your performance across key lifts—Matt and I will rally the group at the end of each session to review what you hit, answer any questions, and help keep your training focused.
🥗 NEW Nutrition Clarity Audit
As part of our ongoing upgrades, every member will now have access to a Nutrition Clarity Audit, including:
- A 1-2-1 walkthrough of our updated body composition scales
- A brief consult on your results
- Access to our Thrive Macro Calculator to set targets for your goals
- Practical advice to help you make the most of your data
These will roll out from early/mid-January—more info to follow soon.
🆕 New Programme Block – Building Better Lifts
Great to see so many of you starting this block by stepping a little outside your comfort zones.
The focus on technical refinement and control is already showing—you're not lifting more, you’re lifting better.
This deliberate work now will pay off massively when we head into another heavy strength phase in the new year.
Stay dialled in and keep focusing on quality!

A gentle reminder: please aim to arrive with time to spare before your session starts. Being ready for the brief ensures:
- Everyone is clear on the session flow
- The transition between blocks (Mobilise > Activate > Strength etc.) runs smoothly
- Every member gets the most out of their time
